I have two female ducks a rouen and a pekin. Today while i was cleaning their coop i found a dead bee(probably a honeybee) and my rouen (daisy) acting weird. I felt there might be sometheing wrong with her so I brought her inside the house, she was sleepy since she came inside; she was always so curious and excited when she came inside. She’s trembling a bit and her eyes are barely open, i tried to encourage her to walk but she just sits. (and It’s just 2PM) She wakes to eat and drink water then sleep rightaway! I checked her legs and found no sign of bee sting , i tried to check under her feathers but there are too much feather.. is there any possibility that These are the symptoms of bee sting? If yes, how can i help her? I already added ACV to her water..

Hi. Do you see any place on her that is swollen and looks like a sting mark? I just learned in a post yesterday that ducks can have Benadryl. This was posted by another member @casportpony so if you think it is a sting and want to try it, here's the dose info.

It (Benadryl) can be used, but needs to be given orally because it bitter and they won't drink water medicated with it. The dose is 2-4 mg/kg, which is 0.9 to 1.8 mg per pound.

The children's liquid is 2.5 mg/ml , so the dose is 0.36 ml to 0.73 ml per pound.
