Can Button and Coturnix live together??

I don't house mine together due to worries over bullying and fighting, but I did hold them side-by-side before and the only issue was the dominant wild-type male trying to mate with the poor tiny quail, I was afraid he was gonna squish her! :lau

The fawn, who is less dominant, was super docile and sweet though, and the button female seemed fairly relaxed around him.

Yes! We have one coturnix female with our buttons and she is so sweet with them. All of the buttons snuggle up under the coturnix to sleep. Even the zebra finches sometimes join! Our coturnix femle is very calm and easy going. The chicks climb all over her.

Here are pictures of our buttons, and even a zebra finch, sitting with our coturnix :love

Did you have problems introducing the coturnix to the group?
