Can chickens and rabbits live together?

I had no problems with my chickens and rabbits living together, some of my rabbits were in cages others were left to roam the rabbit house, the chickens once they got to be a certain age were allowed to roam in the rabbit house also.

I have a 6.5 y/o male unaltered mini rex who hangs out with the chickens. At first, I was more nervous about the chickens picking on him, rather than the other way around. All of the girls ganged up on him to check him out. Once the spectacle was over, it was over. Everyone pretty much minds their own business. I'd watch the diet of the rabbit - like others have said.

I don't understand why it would be the same as keeping game birds with chickens. The reasons you wouldn't keep gamebirds with chickens has nothing to do with rabbits.
