Just wondering if my flock can have boiled shrimp tails. I buy dried shrimp for my flock, but didn't know if the process of freeze-drying made it easier to digest or something? Didn't want it to go to waste if it could be high calcium and high protein treats! šŸ™‚

My chickens love shrimp tails and shells! They will also gobble down any bits of clams or oysters still attached to the shells after they are dinner for humans. Same with lobster/crab shells.
Awesome! šŸ˜ Should I break the shells into smaller pieces first?

Good to know about the clam, oysters, crab, and lobster shells too! šŸ¤©
