It's (obviously) just temporary...I moved my adult hens from one pen (7 of them) into a temporary quarters for 2-3 weeks; I'm disinfecting their run and coop, and I want to let it rest for a few weeks before putting them back in. I've got them in a horse stall now, and they are laying in a corner feeder which is plastic...it's probably 18" deep, and low to the ground (it's a stall for a mini donkey actually), so they hop on the edge and them hop down into the feeder. They love it, but I'm worried that someone will lay, and another will come along & jump on top of an egg and break it! So, Hopefully this will do the truck for a few weeks!
