Can chicks have to many probiotics?

Hello I put probiotics in my chicks water and I am planning to get grit with probiotics would that be to much for them?

How long have you had them on water with probiotics? If it's been more than a week or so I'd stop adding it to the water and just offer plain water.

I don't think they need the probiotics at all if they are eating a good chick starter ration.

I bought about a 2 gallon bag of granite grit from the local mill, they put it in their chicken scratch. Ran it thru a colander with 1/16" holes. Bagged the smaller stuff for the chicks and sprinkle some over a chunk of sod in the brooder during the second week.
