Can hens have spurs?

We have Red Laced Wyandotte that was egg bound. We gave her several Epson salt warm water baths and were able to get the egg out.

We notice that she has spurs on her legs. Can hens have spurs?

Yes some hens will grow large spurs. I believe all chicken grow spurs but the spurs on hens are generally very small.

Agreed with @Brahma Chicken5000 .
Every chicken has spurs even if they are the tiniest little nub on their leg. Roosters usually have the larger ones but it isn't unusual for a hen to have some large ones sometimes.

Totally agree with the others... My young golden spangled hamburg is growing spurs. I know she's a pullet, since she's laying for me almost every day, but she's definitely growing spurs.
