I have a hen that is fighting a respiratory infection. She is on Lincomycin via water. My question is... can I add Vitamins and Electrolytes to the water as well? I think it may give her a much needed boost. Thanks in advance!

Yogurt is a fad and actually not needed. Birds don't digest dairy. If wanting a probiotic then buy the probiotics for Birds.
Commercial yogurts are mandated to have two types of probiotics. Many brands have more. Sure it’s better to actually buy probiotic powders but yogurt has its advantages for chickens that are sick and won’t eat very much.
The idea of not digesting dairy in birds is what helps flush their guts with things like enteritis and when a birds immune system becomes weak during molt. Sometimes the already present bacteria can multiply to the point where it makes the birds sick.

I won't argue this point but I have a Poultry Vet that works at the University of Alberta and I trust his information.

Take a screen shot of what I said and ask him if what I said is true or not. I bet you’ll be surprised.

Geez! I meant just to give the vitamins, you can mix them in with the yogurt.
LOL Col, you stirred something up!
I would not add vitamins/electrolytes to the mixed antibiotic water.
You can do as suggested and add those to a little yogurt or use the vitamin water to make a wet mash out of her feed.

fyi for chickens, I am not talking about a whole cup full of yogurt. Depending on size/age 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon daily is good.
Sick birds often go off feed, so if yogurt, egg, meat, a few berries, etc. entice them to eat then that's good. Always make their normal feed available as well.
