I wouldn't know where to begin in India to find feed or feed ingredients. So sorry I can not help, but someone here should have a good recipe. Do your birds get to forage and free range?

Actually, I live in an apartment so no. We have allotted one room to them where they roam around and I have placed some things for them to perch on.

You can feed the crushed egg shells back to help some with calcium.

I sent that link to you because it's not supposed to sink as bad as the larva farms with fish heads, rotting meat, and other stinky things since it will be indoors.
