Can I feed quail chicks adult food?

Alright cool, thanks so much!

Edit: Actually was able to track down one at a feed store that had a 29% protein to it for quail, turkeys, and other game birds. Just need to grind it smaller for the chicks and add the grit.

Soybean Meal is a dry block which has 47% protein. You can mix that in to increase your protein contain.

At a future date I will start making my own feed and maybe even listen to Em Ty and try fermented feed :) - not brave enough yet.

My two dogs love the FF turkey starter. One of them won't eat his very expensive dog food as long as there's FF nearby. Any spills get hoovered up.

I find it adds about 10-15 minutes to my day, but it would only be 5 minutes if I wasn't feeding out of two FF buckets to keep track of useage for two different batches, and if I used an inner bucket with holes to drain. It's so little trouble that I haven't bothered to do that yet.

I buy H + H gamebird (28%, soy-free) off Amazon, free shipping. The birds grow like crazy and look great, and yeah, my dogs prefer the stuff to their food.
