Can I get the poultry judging standards online?

Hi everyone,

I found an old copy on-line under "Google books". It's in PDF format. Granted, it's from the 1940s (?) but it probably has many of the same standards as today, I would think - there may be some now that might be added, but could be a good (free) start.

Here's the link:

If you go to Google and pull up "Standard of Perfection" in Google Books it should come up.

Hope it helps!

Actually, there will have been MANY changes since the 1940s. That might be a good place to start but it's not going to be current, at all. I wouldn't breed to what was listed in a 60 year old Standard!

Think about it. For the price of less than three bags of feed, you can purchase a Standard. Or six cups of coffee at Starbucks. Or one dinner out. To buy a book that will guide you in breeding your birds for many years. Well worth it, IMO...
