Hello
My turkey has some problems with his eye and I was wondering if this "broad spectrum antibiotic" would help treat it?
It's called Amtyl

His eye is kinda swollen and a little red, has a smelly watery discharge coming only from his eye and sometimes has bubbles in the corner of his eye. It's only one of his eyes and he always rubs his head onto his back.

I don't know much about giving poultry antibiotics so would this help clear up his problem?

How much does he weigh? I ask because I don't think there is enough medication in that jar to treat a large bird like a turkey.

About 18lbs
That jar does not have enough medication.
The turkey amoxicillin dose is 125 mg/kg twice a day
The Turkey tylosin dose is 132 mg/kg per day

That jar contains 25 grams and each gram has 150 mg amoxicillin & 100 mg tylosin.

If he is a pet turkey buy this instead:

Get an exact weight on him and I will tell you how much to give. The directions say it can be put in the water, but this is not true, it must be given orally.

My scale says he's 17.5lbs but I'm not sure how accurate it is

We used out boxer's eye drops when when our chickebs had eye problems. You should be able to use eye drops for dogs and cats on your turkey.
