Can i have a coop of ONLY roosters?

I had a bachelor pad for a while. 18 cockerels
They were well-enough behaved while the hens free ranged around them, but they were young, and brooded and grew up together so I guess there wasn't a whole lot of need to challenge the pecking order.
When they got older I had to move them away and put Mr Red in with them.
Mr Red the big RIR roo kept them in line. He would break up the fights. If some of them squabbled and he even started moving their way they would each run in opposite directions. I never saw any of the youngsters dare tackle big Red. He was over a year and the young guys were 20-25 weeks. I guess they were smarter than they looked :p Nobody ever was injured worse than a little scabbing on their comb once in a while.

I would NEVER attempt to introduce a young roo to a pen full of roos though, coz they'd probably all gank him. Mr Red obviously could hold his own cos he was so much bigger

I have two seperate coops right now. One for my mixed breeds of hens and one for my 5 roo's.
They are normally all running together but since i am attempting to do some selective breeding Ive had to pull the roo's out to let the girls 'detox' before putting them with my chosen rooster.
In my rooster pen i have 1 RIR, 1 Light Sussex, 1 Langshan, 1 Isa Brown X, and my frankenroo who is Light Sussux X not-so-silkie Bantam.
So far i havent had any major dramas. They are different ages and sizes, and they seem to know who is boss, the Sussex, and no one ever challenges him.
To make things easier my girls go out in the day pen, which is fully fenced so no escapee's or unexpected visitors, and the boys are let out to free range. They usually stick close to the day pen though.

I had a coop with 30+ roo's in it and had no problems!

Not one drop of blood was drawn till they went to freezer camp at 24 weeks!

Love the term FREEZER CAMP But years ago I had 1/2 game 1/2 EE chickens that ran the place they hatched out all summer. There wasn't much fighting going on except the old roosters. But I'll tell it seemed like frist rain the fight was on. there would be dead or dieing roosters every where. a blood mess.
If you have game chickens and they dont fight You have a bad line of fighting birds. My 1/2 breed hens would even fight.
I never fought birds they barn yard birds

Like others posted; you should be ok. It's usually when you have hens with them that all the fighting really gets bad.

This is a picture of Just part of our Red Rooster Run. (its too big to take one picture of the whole thing).
There are only a few roosters scratching in the area when it was taken. But currently there are 13 roosters and the ages, breeds, and back grounds all varies.
New roosters are introduced about once-twice a week.

We really do hope more people and chicken lovers give the rooster a chance.
If you have any questions about how to start or manage or set up a rooster home i hope you just ask!
We will try our best to answer all and any questions!
Thanks

I have to say i LOVE your birds!

Ok, another (stupid) question... i will be ordering some games so if i put the extra roos in the roo coop, would they all kill eachother (if so i can just sell them)

a great way to introduce new roosters is to put them in to the roosters coop or pen just before or during bed time, so they are all settling down and cant see that well in the dusk/dark.
just remember that like with the hens they will fight a little to figure out the pecking order, but are not always fighting to kill or hurt.
Give them a chance to settle it out on their own. You may have to intervene just to make sure no blood is drawn, but they will need to be able to settle it their selfs.

Good luck!
