Howdy? I'm a newbie from Korea. I'm raising chicks in my apartment here in South Korea.
I want to raise some serama chickens but it's hard to find one here.
So I want to import some hatching eggs or adult seramas
from the States or somewhere else in the world.
Is it possible? If so, how can I do it? Any advice?

To ship out of the country, you have to have your birds tested for New Castle, Fowl Pox and Fowl Thyphoid. These require a blood test which here is sent to the University for testing. However, it takes 2 CCs of blood to do this. Which is alot for these tiny guys, since their blood is only 8 percent of their body weight.

The vet has to use a tiny insulin needle and then it is questionable whether they hit the vein or not.

Here the cost is only $20 per bird.

Hope this is helpful and you can find a breeder!
