Can I introduce an older chick to my baby chick

I had 11 eggs and 1 of them hatched. It seem really lonely so I want to get a friend for it. Could I introduce one a little bit older or does it have to be the same age?

I've had some good success doing this. Just watch them closely for several hours.
Oh, almost forgot add the older one to the younger ones brooder and not the other way around.
