I had three hatchling Ameraucana chicks yesterday, but one started sneezing and this morning, she died. She had stopped sneezing yesterday afternoon but started again this morning. I happened to be near the brooder when she started to flop around, and then just died. The two left seem to be OK at this point; both eating and drinking well. However, I want to make sure they get what they need, so daughter searched BYC and found that Probiotic, Electrolyte and vitamins may help. I bought Sav-A-Chick Probiotic and Electrolyte and vitamin supplement. And finally, my question is: Can I mix both together in the same gallon of water. Also, how long will the water last before I should throw it out? Should I refrigerate or not? Thanks in advance for any help given.
