no city of derby , i want to move to the country as soon as able , gardens are quite big bit not the size you would have . outlaw my chickens let them try they will here what i have to say about them if they start on my chucks ha ha ha

Did you read up on by-laws?

Mine said nothing in it when I checked. That left room for people to complain. I would rather move than get rid of my chickens, and that's exactly what we did.

and i would too , there is a roo near by that we hear in a morning and nobody around me has moaned so . i would cross that bridge if i came across it but we want to sell our house and move anyway so it would give us a push to do it

That's exactly what I said! We were always planning on moving to the country, but this just got it kick started. Darn old folks home complaining! And not even about the noise, it was the thought they would catch a disease!! From:

Yes I am That is a girl. I have had 3 polish, but I find sexing works the same in Houdans, and there are a few things to look out for. The nares (around the nostrils) will be much larger in a male.

awwwrrr thanks so glad you are , ya see what you mean about diff between male and female , i have 2 white and 2 black and all look same as that white one at the moment . i wanted one male so fingers crossed one is .your polish are so nice . the chick i put out for first tim today is black and white so fingers crossed its like yours

Thank you! I bought a camera especially for taking pictures of my animals, so it does it's job

The ones above are actually mottled houdans, but they are very similar in their sexing techniques. The birds above are quite a bit bigger than a polish. Males around 8.5 pounds and females 6.5. They have very similar personalities I've noticed!
