We are in a transition phase - I am trying to get a 10w x 20L x 6H run built so that I can cover the top and keep them contained when duck season comes in. right now they free range all day and go to the pen around 7:30 for food and treats, then at dark they get locked in the houses. These pictures only show one house but I had 4 ducks at that time - now we have 2 identical houses and 8 ducks! The wooden enclosure is only 2 sided, with a top and no bottom except a 2 x 6 that runs midway across. I put the feed pan and waterer inside of it to protect it from rain, wind, etc...

Do you have any close up pics of the wooden duck house?

I dont have any pictures of mine but it was just my old dogs run. Its chain link all around and i just put chicken wire in the inside to help keep out some predators and put chicken wire of the top as well. Also, I keep my 2 pekin ducklings (5 weeks old) and we used to keep out other 3 pekins (4 months old) in with the chickens but we just rehomed them and we didnt have any issues with the chickens being with the ducks...

Sorry, not right now. I never took pictures of it - it's nothing to brag about - I will take some this weekend and upload to here on Monday.

This is like the coolest duck home EVER!!! I am so jealous!! If you dont mind me asking how long did it take to build? And how much did it cost? Gosh, I wish my mom would be okay with my boyfriend and I building something like that for them... LOVE IT!!

Hiya this is my set up.. I live in England, and for everything the fence, coop, paddling pool... cost me around £150, if that.. I think that converts to around less than $300 in America. I have 6 runners, and the coop is huge for them, lots of space... its 5f long and nearly 3ft wide.
