Can I sneak new duckling under broody Pekin?

at this point it might be safer to raise the ducklings yourself and buy her fertile eggs, since the ducklings are older and they have not seen her they might not imprint, and if shes only been broody a few days she might not accept them

Someone else on another byc thread called their mixed chicks "designer" and I thought it was a really cute way of saying it.

I am thinking I might just raise these ourselves. She's only been broody just over a week, so might not have had enough time to get into that "mom" thing yet, and yeah, these ducklings might not work with her. I think we'll try introducing them tomorrow through the fence and see what sort of reaction they get and then just play it by ear from there.

I really appreciate everyone's advice! It helps me decide what to do and gives me ideas I wouldn't have thought of myself. Thank you!
