I placed 12 eggs that i got from a local woman under my broody Buff Orpington on 4-17-13. About a week ago I could tell there was only 8 under her. Today I looked and one seemed cracked. I checked an hour later and that egg is obviously rotten. No chick. Do I still have hope for the other 7 eggs? The lady assured me they were fertile - she has a large flock, 75 birds? This is my first broody hen.
