Can I take my chickens out on a field trip?

Ah ha yes. Delaware. Looks like that other Sussex is a hen, as well as the Amerecaunas there and maybe golden comets (?) Well send some more pics if you'd like, they are old enough now where you can get a pretty good idea.

As long as you are allowed to have them where you live, and they don't get overly aggressive with the hens, roosters are great. For years I didn't want one, but now I wouldn't go without.

Make sure you hold them a lot!! Will help with them being nice.

So when I ordered online on Blaine’s fleet and farm I originally got
5speckled
5easter eggers
5 cinnamon queens

The speckled and Easter eggers are all what they are supposed to be I THINK lol
But the cinnamon queens I noticed 2 looked different from the 3
And it was a couple weeks ago when I really noticed the feathering that they were actually different breeds
So yes now we have the Delaware too

I will for sure get more pictures. Little hard right now I can’t pick them up but will send some soon


When I observe them they do the normal pecking order stuf but really they all get along it seems everyone knows their place and who rules the roost so to speak lol if we have multiple I’ll def be grateful. I know the pictures cockerel above LOVES to be held and sit in mamas lap
