i have a LG still air bator and currently i have 6 brown-red game eggs in there and i just got some motted cochin eggs... the brownp-red eggs are due to hatch on sept 13 and the cochins are due the 15... i have the brown-red eggs on a flat piece of wire but i dont wont the brown-red to hatch and miss up the cochin eggs, so can i put the cochin in a egg carton and will they be ok in that

yes , you can use an egg carton to set eggs in your bator , just remember to tear out the round bottoms of each egg carton so that the eggs get enough circulation around them.

hope that helps some.

great idea...
I have to remove mine from the egg turner tonight as I'm nearing the lockdown days...
And I wondered if laying them on their sides would be good or bad.
I think I'll try your idea, to hold them steady.
