I'm not sure what she weighed prior but her keel bone is pretty dominant feeling. I don't feel much around it, so I can tell she's lost a lot. I noticed it last Oct when she was molting. She had a very big molt and was acting weird. It was my first time dealing with a molt. So when she acted weird I naturally grabbed her and looked her over. When I felt she was thin. But then I read chickens can lose weight when molting so I thought it was that. But then she was losing so much I just knew it wasn't normal. Then I noticed her crop was hard, I gave her olive oil then it soften and got squishy like pudding, I smelled a slight odor and she stopped eating. So I treated for sour crop. Gave monistat and she started to eat. Went back with the others and it felt like she was gaining weight. I started to noticing her poop was off. Was watery green then it turned to a sulfate yellow color, was back and forth like that. She started to have a poor appetite. One day she had a thick yellow poop that stuck all to her feathers. She stopped eating again. I treated for vent gleet with monistat and she started to eat again. Maybe not as much as I think she should but she's being caged so she's not using much energy so maybe thats why. But her poop is not forming, still is green with yellow sulfate color. I treated for coccit too.You have to mix 1/3 a pack and give it orally.
How much weight has she lost?
