Can I use Sevin dust instead of DE?

Just wondering if I can use Sevin powder instead of food grade DE?

I have used the 5% sevin dust. I switched to permethrin spray since its just easier and the dust blowing all over me.

One of my girls feathers were torn up by some parasites so I dusted the lot and then 5 days later I put I put some sevens dust into the girls newest dirt bathing area and they did all the work themselves.

Cleaned out the coop/run as well as dusted that whole area too of coarse.
