Can I use this sand?

I was thinking about using sand that came out of sandbags as bedding for my 3 week old chick
Can it work as bedding? Or grit or for dust bathing?

Should work fine as long as it's not moldy or mildew from being wet in a bag. If it's discolored I probably wouldn't trust it.

Mites would be a concern too if it is riverbed sand. Ive done that and havent seen any issues for it. It was damp but not mildewed i added DE because just a little bit goes in all the dust baths and in case of sand mites if it is riverbed sand.
