From the picture it just looks like a normal baby chick, few angles to show off it's body and hybrid ness would be awesome but from this picture I can't see anything showing a hybrid and I'm excited to see as I'm sure @Nabiki is

It hatched from button quail egg and he is small like the other baby button quails, but he has the same black lines on him as the other type of quail.
The right one is the button quail but they look the same accept the size.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this is either a button or a coturnix. Unfortunately since Japanese quail (Coturnix japinoca) and chinese painted quail/button quail (Synoicus chinensis) are not of the same genus and therefore cannot successfully breed.
He is growing well, I had another egg that is Chinese but very big egg, I still think he is half Chinese and half Japanese but i could be wrong.
