Can my chicks have yogurt?....

thanks guys glad to hear your opinion on things i will give them some yogurt as a little treat and hopefully that will keep them from geting a pasty i am worried because some of my hens have it!

Yogurt is highly recommended. Very good for their little systems. As noted before, the hardest part is finding a way to feed it to them so that they are not wearing more of it than they ate! Just make sure it is plain yogurt, some have tons of sugar. Best of luck with your babies!

ok thanks do you think soy yogurt is aloud too i asume it wont make a difference
 
I don't have a definite answer on that one. I would assume that since a lot of the poultry foods use soy, that it would be fine. Maybe someone else could chime in on this also.
 
ok now I am confused

I thought the chicks just needed starter but hearing all this about yogurt and such I am totally confused
this is the first time we're raising chicks. We've had them just shy of two weeks and they seem very happy and playful and no pasty butts.

we have 3 easter eggers and 3 barred rocks
