Can my little chicks heads get sunburnt?

I just got some new Polish chicks and some are old enough to go out in the coop with the older birds. They used to all be together in a small brooder before I got them and so they picked on each other, so a bunch of them have no feathers on their heads and backs (although they are slowly growing back). Can they get sunburnt if they are out in the sun too long? Lol. I feel bad for their little bald heads.

yup,it happens.All my bald backed girls are looking red also, one of them is totally tanning though which is a tad funny to see.
I just rub them down with a tad of aquafor if they look uncomfy.
