Protein level is just 1 problem.Peafowl can get blackhead disease same as turkeys,so they would need a feed with meds for blackhead.Turkey feed has Emtryl which provides the meds they need.

I give my peachicks medicated chick starter. As they get older I add champagne grapes to the food. Then I add mixed veggies (no salt) to the food. Then add tiny bread pieces (the rest goes to the adults). I do not give cat food that often, just as a treat here and there but only to the older ones. I give cooked store brand pasta and melons to the peas as well. I am a big mixed vegetable giver seeing they cannot eat grass in the winter.

We mix purina kitten chow into the 16% regular chicken layer feed we give everyone else. Of course, every day the peas chase everyone away from the food and pick out all the cat food first
