Can permethrin be used on chickens?

I just wrote another reply/question in this thread asking about humidity. Have you ever had to spray the premises and wait for it to dry while it was really wet or humid out? We're supposed to get heavy rains in the next few days and my product is supposed to arrive on Sunday, and I'm hoping that the humidity doesn't interfere with drying so much that it would be unsafe for the birds to go into their coop.

Omg, I'm having a very hard time finding product in stock! :(
Plus, heavy rains are coming the next few days. Have you ever had to treat in humid, or even wet, conditions?

I've found a 0.25% permethrin Garden & Poultry dust (only 2 left at TSC; hopefully, I can get one before they're gone tomorrow).
The quickest I can get Permethrin 10 liquid for the premises is Martin's on Sunday; hopefully no holdup with shipping. I had hoped to treat by Friday.

So hopefully Sunday will be the day. Rain chances plummet Sunday (per latest forecast anyway) to 20%, but it will be very humid from the days prior, and I'm concerned about how long after spraying the coop it will take for the product to dry enough for them to go inside.

Hopefully it doesn't rain and is not too wet to have them outside the run in their outer yard while I treat the premises, so I can treat each with powder and bring them back into the structure one by one. Otherwise, it will be very tricky treating the roost with them in the run. I live in a hot area so there's a lot of open wall between the roost and run.

The one hen with lots of egg clusters (most of which I softened and cut off last night) is also crawling with lice! It's horrible! I checked the other hens she's roosting with, and no one else has visible crawling lice, but they will soon! And one of them has some smaller egg clusters. I feel so bad for them!
I found mine either on Amazon or Chewy.

Yes, both of them had a longer waiting period than if the two feed stores by me would have had their stuff in stock. I ended up finding both liquid and powder, thank goodness. But the rain really ramped up, continuing through the weekend.
It's not raining right now, but it's supposed to start up again in a couple-few hours. I let them out and started my coop cleanout, with the plan of then treating each one and bringing them back in for the night.
If it starts to rain like it's opposed toodostenaosttf. However, I read that the liquid sprayed on the premises won't be effective until it is completely dry (I thought it had to be dry so that they weren't breathing it in all night).🙁 The label says that in damp conditions like this.I should expect it to take several hours for the product to dry...
So I may have to do the cleanout today, leaving little to no litter overnight, put them back in tonight to roost, and then tomorrow very early clean up the rest/again & treat it, letting them outside as the chances are supposed to be lower tomorrow for rain... And just hope for the best. 😬🫩🤞 What I also really don't want to create is a chain of events in which these lice can build resistance to the product.

My chickens have lice and I ordered some Permethrin because the Elector ESP is taking forever to arrive. The label on it says good for goats, horses, dogs, coops, but does not mention the dosage for use ON chickens. How much do I put in how much water to spray on them? Or is this not safe? Thanks
If you are concerned about permethrin spray ( be aware that it's highly toxic to aquatic life as well as cats) then sulfur powder will deal with lice without any toxicity issues.
