Hello everyone, happy holidays!
I have several roosters that my husband had planned to process this fall, but never got around to it. I have been feeding them flock feeder and the same type of treats that I feed the other birds. The roosters are in a large out building that was originally used for a large amount of chickens.
They are heathy and happy (except for not being able to service the hens outside their area). I am running out of flock feeder which is the most expensive feed that I buy. I have some chick starter left over from the spring and summer that I am curious if I can feed the roosters. Or at least cut the flock feeder with the chick starter until both are gone.
Thanks in advance. Nevada Emma
