This is something that I think all of us are going to want to share with many friends and family.

I WILL!!

I hope Nifty/other mod will sticky it on the front page.

Perhaps some one can just cut and paste all of Rebecca's posts from that thread into one thread for everyone's reading enjoyment?

All I can say is

WOW!!!!

I'm putting pertinent links and info here for you Rebecca. Makes it easy.

What I sent to my friends and family in an e-mail.

As many of you know I now have a chicken coop in my back yard and we are getting about a dozen eggs a day from 18 hens.

(Why I found it interesting... that and I grew up on the farm loving chickens)

This video comes from a gal in Tennessee.

She had a couple of double yolker eggs that she put into an incubator. This particular egg ended up giving her live TWIN chicks!

It's long (10 minutes) but it's worth it.

Delivery of a double yolker egg!

Mother was a Rhode Island Red/ Father is a Blue Lace Gold Wyandotte.

Enjoy.

Here is the result

I don't know if this is necessary as we already have a Sticky of Read Me's on hatching that most folks don't read.

I agree the thread is wonderful and exciting news, but it is not new information on how to help a chick.

Rebecca should make a personal page detailing the egg parentage and following through with the hatch including the story, photos and video with followups on the chicks development.

Then Rob might be inclined to link to it from the Learning Center with the hatching information.

I don't think a sticky will get the thread read any more than it has been or will help much based on other stickies and info.

Good Ideas Miss Prissy and hinkjc! I forget about the learning center. This thread was just so danged cool, probably because you just don't hear of a double yolker hatching through! AND SEE IT!!!!
