Can someone help me to see the gender of my rescue chicken?

Hi, here is a picture of our balcony.
One side is floor to ceiling windows and the other side is the door to our living room.View attachment 2448261
You might want to put something down on the floor. Then put pine shavings down, and a sand bath they can have. Could that become a chicken area? Maybe even grow some plants, there is a type of grass that grows really fast but I forget what it's called.

If you have the right kind of door to the balcony, you could put in a cat door so and have it held open during the day. You could put an enclosed area for them right next to the balcony. I'd use a puppy playpen, something like this:View attachment 2448255
With linoleum flooring underneath it and cardboard zip tied to the bottom parts of the panels. That way you can put dirt/pine shavings down for them, and give them full balcony access. If you put bird netting around the balcony so that they can't fly away, they can be on it without supervision.
That’s brilliant idea!! I will start looking for the material and make a better home for them! Thank you for being so helpful!

Linoleum flooring is great to put down under things like shavings.

Hi, thank you so much for your suggestions! I’m thinking about giving the chicken the whole balcony (as we aren’t doing laundry there anymore anyway). And I can move some plants there too!
