I live in Pennsylvania and try to search a lot of post regarding PA. However every time I try to use just these 2 letters it throws me back to the search page. I'v read that you should post your location in your posts, but what is it good for if you cannot search for it? I was not aware of the google search. I am new to this forum and always see post with the states, mostly as 2 letter abbreviations. So I just assumed the search would work for state abbreviations as well. I will try the google search. Thank you!
I think it is because it is only 2 letters. I'll look into it, but I'm not sure there is an easy fix. Maybe try the Google search to the top right like this: https://www.backyardchickens.com/se...3pz2p90m&cof=FORID:10&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=PA#1291
the best thing to do is make sure you add the word pennsylvania to the thread somewhere, maybe something a mod could keep an eye on when people in general post state related stuff. it would be best if the poster could do it. i think the forum software probably has a cut off for the minimum number of letters you can search for, it may or may not be changeable
