Can they eat these

This may be a dumb question but I’m looking for some insight.
I was scrolling through Instagram and found someone feeding their chickens Outshine Fruit Bars. I’ve got some in the freezer and wondered if it would be safe to give one to the chickens.

I ask this because the temperatures are rising and I’m making a list of snacks the chickens can eat that will cool them down. I tend to stick to healthy things or them like watermelon and grapes-in-water but maybe just maybe this is something chickens can eat, too.

I assume this isn’t the best treat for chickens, but once can’t hurt them, right?

Those look really good to my brain.

I think that treats should be limited, but one of two shouldn’t hurt too much.

I personally would do a treat like frozen watermelon or something, but I’m not sure how much extra sugar those have.

Frozen fruits are great and providing iced water really helps.

I would be most concerned about the sugar content. Frozen watermelon or grapes would probably be just as appreciated, healthier, and cheaper.

But I love those Outshine coconut ones!

I’m not familiar with how much sugar can be harmful as it’s usually something I avoid with my chickens.

I would think that’s a bit on the high side.

Try frozen green/garden peas. Nice cold treat but also nutritional.

I'm sure one ice lolly wouldn't hurt them but there's better things to feed.
