I have a broody silkie who has hatched 3 of her 6 eggs so far! This is my first hatch so I’m sorry if this is a dumb question but....
she is all black, and I have two roosters, a buff Orpington and an ayam Cemani. I’m not sure who fertilized the eggs, so I was anxiously awaiting hatch day and so far we have one black chick, one grey chick, and one all white chick!!!
They’re adorable and I really don’t care which rooster is the papa, or if they both are lol. I’m just wondering if it is possible that different eggs could be fertilized by different roosters, all eggs being laid about a day apart.
I’ll post some pics!
