Can Valbazen be applied to skin instead of orally?

I did an internet search and also forum search and have not found enough information. I'm going to be deworming my poults at 1 week and again after 10 days if I see signs. I've learned the hard way that gapeworm is a real problem, at least on my property and the poults wont make it 2-3 weeks without some kind of dewormer. Because I allow the hens to raise the poults, they can be aggressive if I approach, especially the one RP. So I'd like to be able to apply the Valbazen quickly, like on the back, or under the wing instead of orally, and then dipping their beak in water. (Can't imagine that stuff tastes good) Any advice or experience with skin contact Valbazen? Will it do harm? Or not be effective? Thanks so much!

It needs to be given orally. Will they eat a wet mash? If so you could give it to them that way.

I've only been raising turkeys for three years but mine always seemed more picky about what they will eat than chickens I raised in the past. They forage mostly, so any ideas on a wet mash recipe that's irresistible for turkeys?

Try offering some crumbles soaked in warm water and see if they'll eat it.
