Can we start a new list: Treating Duck Emergencies-Must Have Supplies

Everything I mentioned in my posts is available without a prescription. Mr. Peter Brown of (I believe) tri-state veterinary supply has many, if not all, of the products that are non-prescription. His advice is helpful.

An ag store will carry some of the items (feed store),.. and there are online poultry/vet/agricultural suppliers as well.
 
AND, if the injury is to the feet, once you apply the ointments and/or bandages, you need to put on one of Nettie's Duck Booties!

A dropper or syringe is absolutely mandatory for little birds. Its the only way to be positive they are getting feed/water when recently hatched and to keep them hydrated/fed when under stress.
