Can we talk breadmakers?

I have the high end West Bend Breadmachine that I bought on sale several years ago from Sears. It was over $200.00 and marked down to $70.00. That was the best $70.00 I ever spent. I love my breadmaker. It makes the traditional size and shaped loaf bread. I can also just use it to knead dough for rolls, etc. and it makes great quick/sweet breads. I have used it alot over the years and am worried that when it dies I won't be able to find another one I like as well or for as cheap!!!! The motor is making some new noises lately! My opinion is that since I work and want fresh homemade bread I prefer a machine---it saves me alot of time!!

I hope you guys are happy, thanks to our discussion on bread makers... I made bread and pizza dough this weekend.

I also broke down and bought a kitchenaid stand mixer. QVC had a special I felt was a good deal so I finally bit the bullet and bought one. I'm so excited to get it. Luckily they let you spread it out on payments without interest so it doesn't seem as bad.
