can white leghorn hens have a big comb? I don't know if I have a hen or a roo. It hasn't crowed yet so I don't think it is a roo. But then again I have no idea.

Quote:They can! My hen, Squig, has a HUGE comb, and everyone asks if she's a rooster, but she lays me an egg a day, so I'm pretty sure she's not. [IMG] A pic would help, though.

Is it still making baby noises? It is hard for me to have a great opinion without the general age of the bird. [IMG]
