Awesome!!! We were really hoping for a sebright or two... they look so amazing. Can't wait to watch them grow. 4 are supposed to be hens and 4 are SR. Hopefully the 4 SR aren't all roos. My roos have to go and live with my brother in law...My neighbors are tooooo close! They are all soooo cute!

#3 is quite possibly a Quail Antwerp Belgian D'Anver, probably some splash Rosecombs tough when so young... Look up the possible breeds on Feathersite and check out the chicks of those breeds.

OK so looking at feather site,

#1 looks like a silver sebright
(http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGP/Sebr/BRKSebrights.html#SebrChix)
#2 No Clue
#3 looks like a Golden Sebright
Same link
#4 looks like a red silkie
(http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGP/Silkies/BRKSilkChix.html)
#5 and #6 are splash or black Rosecombs
(http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGP/BRC/BRKRosecombs.html#BRCChik)
#7 Maybe Splash Quail d'Anver
(http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGP/Quail/BRKQuailBty.html#dAnvChix)
and #8 No Clue

Any thoughts??

1 silver sebright

2 leghorn bantam or white wyandotte bantam (can't tell which comb it has... if it's a single, then it's a leghorn, if it's a rose comb, then wyandotte)...

3 golden sebright bantam

4 red silkie

5,6 Grey Japanese Bantam (just got one from MPC myself)

7 splash rosecomb?

8 Black Tailed White Japanese Bantam (i also got on of these)

#5 AND #6 Are hard. feathersite's pics of the rosecomb and the Grey Japanese are almost identical... Any thing definitive I should look for or is it just a waiting game?

as chicks, they do look very similar.

however, a rosecomb bantam chick will have a rose comb, and a japanese will have a single comb.

can't tell too much from the pick what kind of comb that is... could we get a closer pic of the comb?
