can you boil quail

    Can you boil it in water to cook it? Just asking.

    No reason you could not simmer it in water. But unless this is for broth or some other recipe you know of..I might suggest a more flavorful way of cooking a quail. Roasting in a hot oven so the skin (if there is skin) gets nice and crispy. Grill outside after marinating it...pan fry with some mushrooms and onions...stuff with wild rice and apple stuffing and bake..see what Im saying? [​IMG]
