Can you continue to use a grower feed as an all flock feed?

I thought I'd been buying organic All Flock because everything else on that shelf from that manufacturer was organic. I was wrong. The AF was not organic, so I've switched to their organic grower feed. Oyster shell and egg shells on the side, as I have hens, pullets, and a roo.
Wow, that's sneaky. Glad you discovered that.

I'd say it was my fault, not theirs. I just hadn't noticed. :idunno

I was in the process of buying another bag when I noticed that it was lacking the word "organic" on the label. I asked the owner of the business (small place that I like to give my business to) and she said that it had never been organic. I didn't 'fess up to being so dumb that I hadn't read the label...

In case anyone wants to know, the brand is Kalmbach. If they have organic grower, why not an all flock?

Grower is fine if you also provide oyster shells. All flock is good too, but not always available at stores. Do you have a picture of your suspect?

Hard to get a good pic of something that’s so busy lol. I didn’t get a pick of the Spurs, but they are small and getting sharp.

Organic All-Flock feed isn't common. Most manufacturers say you can use their Starter Grower feed instead.

I've been feeding mostly a Non-Medicated Starter-Grower feed 18% with Oyster Shells in a separate container for 3.5 years to my laying girls.
If my preferred Feed wasn't available when I'm at the store I've bought an All-Flock crumble 20% for $2.00 more.

I recently switched back to a Layer feed 16% for my chickens over 18 weeks old.
I don't have Cockerels/Roosters.

Sure appreciate the info! Considering all advice, planning to keep them on their grower with oyster shell on the side. That is, unless my mystery rooster lays an egg 😂. May consider layer feed if that happens.

Not the greatest pics… hard to snap one of such a busy critter 😂 This chicken has always had a more intense gaze and been more purposeful and focused than the others. It is very gentle when I pick it up and handle it. However, it gently bites my hand when I pick up the other girls. At first I thought it was jealous, but now I wonder if it’s a rooster not wanting me to mess with his girls 🤔
