Can you cut chickens claws?

Hi All,
I have a chicken who has stopped moving round much. On checking her claws are really long, is it possible to cut them? None of my other birds (same age) have this issue.

Yes, you can trim a chicken's nails. However, just like dogs, they have a quick and they will bleed if you cut them too short. Cut only a little at a time and have styptic powder on hand to use to stop the bleeding, just in case.

Yes, you can clip her nails. I just clipped one of my hen's nails today. Just cut a little at a time, and keep cornstarch available in case it starts to bleed.
