Can you eat the first few eggs? The chickens have been on laying crumbles for two weeks.

it depends on how long you kept it sitting on the counter to show off to your friends and family. mine has been there for nearly a year. I probably shouldn't eat it.

We blew ours out and kept the shell... then scrambled up the insides and fed it to the hen that laid it. She loved it.
