Can you hatch store bought fertile eggs-from super market

i just want to try hatching them cuz its an experiment to me and its way easier than shipping them. And you dont really know what type of chicken you will get!

There are some myths around but I think it's also the fact the hens aren't usually confined as much. To be in with a rooster they can't be kept in those tiny little cages alone. Kinda like the free range label.

i have heard that egg farmers put roosters in to protect the hens and they make the hens calmer and more secure. usually it is the free range farmers.

there is a store called whole foods market does anyone know if they supply organic free range eggs? i would imagine they do but i still want to be 100%.

I came across the supermarket hatcher by accident and i am just intrigued.

A buddist isnt allowed to eat a fertilised egg so this is important as a religious point of view surely it should state on the box. (seen someone ask on ask.com so dont quote me)

I had a caged egg with the red blood spots in so how did that happen?? definately says caged eggs on the box.

~I have brought 6 eggs from free range morrisons and i will try them and see what happens? just to see.

some of the eggs rare oakham blue have been hatched before and the suppliers said in a newspaper quote that they would remove the cockerals due to people hatching does it matter if a few people hatch them??

i thinnk its gr8 that they are that free range to get fertile there is a lot of confusion over what is classed as free range and barn etc
obviously we know caged. but barn can mean hundred of hens stuck in a barn with artifical lighting this isnt much healthier.
