Can you help with gender and breed of these two..having my doubts

I'm with Fred, generic red chickens.
I do think they're both cockerels, though. One's just slower than the other.

Nothing definate, but the shading/coloring, stance, and the second bird has thickish legs also. I know girls can have thick legs *got some myself* and hope I'm wrong if you're wanting hens, but I just look at them and think boys.

Post again in a month or so and let us know how they turned out.
