Claremore, OK.
I bought a roo & three hens, I thought they were RIR's but others have different opinions. Anyway care to take a stab at ID'ing these?

sex links of some type I would say. but I don't have the experience to know for sure.

I was thinking possibly New Hampshire for the Roo. But probably too light. The hens look much too light. I know there is a sex link that is a RIR and New Hampshire and something else that looks a lot like what you have. But I think that is Australian, and not sure it is here. Somebody will chime in soon with the answer.

Oh the light leg color may mean that they have some Orpington in them. I was thinking that a little from the color of the hens, and alst the shape. I bet that is part of the answer.

Oh that is great. I was thinking about what would happen if you had an orpington with other chickens. this is great for me to know. Hope MAllen is as happy about it as me!!!

Thanks All!

I thought they might be some type of RIR/BO/NH cross and that's fine by me, as long as I get big brown eggs and healthy chicks I'll be happy with them.

The hens look exactly like my BO/RIR mixes. Can't say much for the roo, as I don't have that kind of mix in my roosters. But since it looks so similar, I'm guessing that's what mine would look like too!
