, she is going to get her much wanted butterfly and as some of you know we live in Guam so the weather is the same year round and we should hav e abeuatiful butterfly in a week or two!!!


This is the same guy from the pics above, he is a Chrysalis!!!

Moths live in cocoons not in a crysalis like this... butterfly... just don't know what kind..very pretty.
 
I don't know, but I was thinking that 4 years old was awful old for a caterpiller ...

If she plans to keep it until then, you will want to keep it in a cooler area as the warm house may cause it to emerge early when there is nothing for it to eat. If you are in a warm climate then she can keep it until it emerges then release it within a few days. There is a lot of information on the web about raising butterflies.
