Yes, EE's are just mixed breeds that lay colorful eggs (not always blue or green, sometimes brown). So it depends on what the mix is I guess but if they came from any hatchery, they are EE's

I have a rumpless EE, she is a laying machine of beautiful eggs.

And I have a tail-less Blue Ameraucana. Genetic mishaps can happen to anyone, I guess!
